Lemonie Gites

 

Lemonie Gites are based around a traditional 18th century farmhouse standing in a tranquil corner of the Charente, bordering the Dordogne, with views over the surrounding countryside.  Set in a 3-acre plot of mature gardens, we are a few minutes away from many local attractions such as the river beach at St Aulaye and the charming village of Aubeterre, one of France’s ‘Beaux Villages’.

 

The original farmhouse and one of the barns have been converted into two holiday cottages (or ‘gites’), retaining original features such as the fireplaces with log burners, and traditional stone walls, combining them with modern facilities to enhance your stay.

 

We have a large, 12x5 metre swimming pool where you can spend your days relaxing, as well as a full-size petanque court and table tennis.  In the evenings you can relax with a drink at the bar area overlooking the gardens and countryside.
